I'm so excited to work together to meet your goals! In my classes, movement is a language. When I work you, I meet you where you are. I provide a judgement free space where we hold our bodies with curiosity and grace. We will challenge ourselves to experience just how strong we are, learn about our anatomy, deepen our breath, and build new movement pathways in joy.
My Story
I'm Emma (she/her), a mat and reformer/pre+post natal certified Pilates instructor with a background in contemporary dance based in Toronto, Canada. I have been passionately teaching movement full-time to a diverse clientele for over a decade.
My Pilates story unfolded in Montreal, where I was deeply engaged as a dance teacher and independent artist while simultaneously navigating the intricacies of my own mental health. Pilates became my anchor, a river that grounded me in both physical and emotional well-being. Moving my body in a low-impact way became a ritual of care. Weaving through my body's encounters of auto-immune disease and my healing journey through trauma, I continue to experience the transformative power of a Pilates practice. For me, exercise has always been about meeting myself on a deeper level. Flowing with breath to build a strength that is functional and empowering for everyday life. I have personally experienced the immense benefits of tuning in and tuning up the body on a daily basis to keep myself mobilized, pain free, and resilient. I can't wait to share this passion with you!

I start everyday with a matcha latte and love baking new gluten free recipes. When I'm not talking about the breath, you can find me singing in a community choir, making a mock-tail, bouldering with friends, jumping in the lake, loving on family and friends or planning my next travel adventure.
